USS Rall (DE-304)
 

On April 12, 1945, while on patrol near Okinawa, Rall was attacked by 5 aircraft; one suicide aircraft, broke through and crashed on the ship’s starboard side aft. The aircraft’s bomb went through the ship, exited the port side and exploded close aboard; 21 killed or missing; 38 wounded.
